Two women were involved in a heated argument at a clinic in Bukit Batok on Monday (April 18th).
A video circulating on TikTok has gone viral after it showed an Everhealth Family Clinic and Surgery staff member angrily kicking a stroller while confronting a woman who was with her son.
The video has since been taken down but has been reposted on other social media platforms.
In the clip, the boy’s mother says, “What are you doing?” and calls the rude clinic worker.
The other woman shows her the CCTV camera while continuing to ask, “Why are you being so rude to your client, I don’t understand.
“I want to come and ask you why you gave me this MC (medical certificate), why are you so rude?”
The worker answers exasperated: “You have 5 days of MC!”
Meanwhile, the boy tries to come between the two women and tells the clinic staff “we’re going to clean up.”
She tells him that she is not scolding him and continues to argue with her mother.
After the first video was posted, another TikTok user shared CCTV footage from inside the clinic of what happened before the confrontation.
In this video, the mother is seen tossing and throwing objects from the clinic’s reception counter before exiting.
CCTV footage of the Everhealth clinic incident which allegedly captured what happened in the clinic prior to the incident in the Tik Tok video has been posted on the internet. 1 hour ago, Everhealth Medical & Everhealth Family Clinic issued the following statement: – “We would like to apologize for causing public alarm about the Tik Tok video taken this morning outside our clinic. The clinic worker is picking up the items when the other woman enters the clinic again to throw another item at her.
It’s the straw that breaks the camel’s back for the worker who then kicks them out.
Everhealth Clinic posted an apology on its Facebook page at 10:50 p.m. Monday for causing “public alarm over the TikTok video.”
