A fourth arrest has been made after supporters of Romana Didulo tried to arrest police in Peterborough last weekend.

Before supporters arrived at the police station in Peterborough, one of the so-called ‘Queen of Canada’ supporters tore down a sign reading ‘Vaccines Save Lives’ which was being held by a counter-protester at the Confederation Park nearby.

The counter-protester had spent the day shouting the sign’s message as well as “Hail Satan” to the crowd of 30 who said they were going to arrest officers for “COVID crimes” and “crimes against humanity”. Didulo, who arrived in the city in an RV, called for the arrest and murder of anyone involved in the deployment of COVID-19 vaccines in Canada. Many of his supporters have sent “cease and desist” letters to organizations asking them to end their “crimes against humanity”.

The protest led to the arrest of two men who tried to stop officers as they entered the parking lot. A third man was arrested a day later in connection with the incident.

Police said on Wednesday the man who tore down the sign surrendered to police.

The 55-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with mischief under $5,000.

The accused was released on a promise and is due in court on August 30.

The incident did not deter the unknown counter-protester who continued to scream, prompting a woman outside the station to assault him. Video shows the woman kicking him and then ripping off his face mask – all incidents filmed by lawyer and citizen journalist Caryma Sa’d and shared on her Twitter feed:
