The Russian-installed puppet government in Kherson has asked Moscow to establish military bases in the region.

Russia advances in Lugansk
It came as Russian troops reportedly advanced into central Severodonetsk, the last Ukrainian city in Lugansk, half of the Donbass industrial region.
