Earlier today, the makers of the film by Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha announced that the movie is titled ‘Kushi’. A first look poster, confirming the same, was also unveiled to publicize the title.
Now, a batch of intellectuals on Twitter find fault with Vijay Deverakonda’s film titled Kushi.
“Khushi is a Pawan Kalyan classic. The producer should have kept the classic title instead of letting someone else use it. Kushi means Pawan Kalyan and Pawan Kalyan means Kushi. Now Vijay Deverakonda has taken it,” one netizen commented.
Well, it’s not uncommon for movies to use classic titles. For example, Varun Tej used Tholiprema, a classic movie title by Pawan Kalyan.
“When Varun Tej used the title Tholiprema, no one had any objection. Now that Vijay used the title Kushi, people call him. Why do people have such intolerance towards Vijay? Is- this because he is a ‘outsider’ making a difference in the Telugu industry?” An ardent Vijay fan commented.
“In reality, Kushi by Pawan Kalyan itself is a remake of the Tamil film with the same title. Also, there is no such complication with reusing titles. This has been done many times in the past,” another user tweeted.
“Pawan Kalyan fans exaggerate on the title. If necessary, we will give the Kushi Remake to Pawan Kalyan for free. He can do it again later,” one Vijay Deverakonda fan mocked Pawan Kalyan fans, using Pawan’s heavy remake lineup.
